The GGIS is based on GeoNode, a a free and open-source software for deploying Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI). An extensive GeoNode users guide is available explaining how to upload and how to use map layers (datasets) and documents, how to create map viewers (maps), dashboards and GeoStories, how to manage user groups, etc. This section provides guidance on the GGIS-specific functionalities that are not covered by GeoNode and that required tailor-made developments.
